JeoTes™ Tubular Heat Exchangers
Ensuring the temperature exchange between an existing liquid-state/gas-state fluid and another liquid-state/gas-state fluid, the exchangers are named after the types of fluid, as defined by the radiators: water-water, water-oil, water-gas (air, nitrogen etc.), vapour-water, vapour-oil, vapour-gas (air, nitrogen etc.), oil-oil, oil-gas (air, nitrogen etc.). These types of exchangers are classified according to the fluids that they process. Depending on the production process, area of usage and tube bundle structures, these products are classified into to two groups: straight tubular and U-shaped exchangers.
The most important things to consider in the production of Straight and “U”-shaped tubular exchangers are the fluids, their characteristics and their change of state within the exchanger The exchangers may be manufactured as; fully carbon-steel, fully stainless, copper tube, cupronickel tube or brass tube bundle, carbon-steel body and stainless body.
Tube Bundle and Body Information About Tubular Exchanger
Upon customer specifications and according to process information, the exchanger tube bundles are manufactured out of carbon-steel, copper, brass or cupronickel tubes. The tube diameters vary between 8 mm and 33.7 mm. The fluidity plays a significant role in determining the tube diameters. Depending on the fluid types and the exchanger’s design models, the straight or U-shaped tube bundles are designed in consideration of imescale accumulation and contamination. The “U” shaped tube system is the preferred choice for vapour systems. As for oil systems, the most common application is the straight tube system whose one side is immobile while the other side involves a mobile mirror. It is worth noting that selecting suitable seals to provide impermeability is very important.
Area of Usage of Tubular Exchangers
Primarily employed by the main industries such as textile, ship-building and food, the exchangers can be used in any industry that requires an alternative energy to an existing alternative energy resource. Meeting the demand for utility water and/or hot water, low-pressure vapour etc., these products offer economic solutions to the companies using vapour tanks, hot oil tanks or boiling water tanks. In consideration of the cleaning factor, the Straight or U-shaped tubular exchangers facilitate processes in the energy recovery applications and the waste water recovery systems of the textile industry.
