What is an Air Separator? What does an Air Separator do?
With its custom design AISI 304 quality stainless metal filler, this product compiles, blisters and removes the fused air contained in the water within the heating and cooling systems through the air removal valve.
Area of usage: These products are used in closed systems such as tank systems (cast or steel tanks), cascade tank systems, air conditioning systems, cooling systems and floor heating systems.
In these systems air bubbles may:
Cause oxygen corrosion within heating and cooling systems;
Cause cavitation on pumps and installation elements;
Prevent heat transmission by hanging on to heat transfer surfaces;
Emit sound and vibration throughout the system.
The air separators remove the air emerging out of the water as the temperature increases.
